E.MIX es 124 is a thin black bitumen priming solution designed to penetrate and seal porous surfaces to provide and prepare a base for waterproofing protective systems. It is specially designed to prime the substrate prior to the installation of E.MIX mb 166 (torched-on membrane) and E.MIX mb 165 (self-adhesive membrane).
This product is applicable on various substrates including metal, slate, concrete, asbestos cement and lightweight concrete screeds, prior to the application of many bituminous materials including E.MIX mb 166 (torched-on membrane) and E.MIX mb 165 (self-adhesive membrane). E.MIX es 124 seals surfaces prior to further waterproofing treatment. It serves as an anti-corrosion coating for metal surfaces.

The waterproofing membrane whilst setting, shall be protected from rain. Air circulation is necessary in enclosed areas to assure the normal setting of the waterproofing membrane.
