E.MIX ep 500 pr primes and seals concrete substrates before the application of E.MIX flooring systems. Where substrates are very porous, more than one coat of this product may be required to saturate the surface and achieve the desired bonding efficiency.
Designed for use as a primer as well as for adhering new coatings to old coatings (repairs) and a wide range of epoxy systems, waterproofing and concrete repair.

Good ventilation is required.

E.MIX ep 500 pr can be applied using paint brush or rollers.

If the subsequent step is delayed, it is strongly recommended to broadcast with fine aggregates to promote the adhesion of the subsequent coating.

If the surface must be abraded, vacuum clean and degreased with solvent degreased then reapplied with another coat of primer.

If the subsequent step is going to be epoxy screed, the primer must be tacky to ensure proper adhesion. If the primer is left longer than the maximum overcoating time, it must be abraded off and reapplied.
